Ray, Jenn and the crew behind the red trim on Allens Ave
A family-owned collision shop that has been fixing Providence cars for over 30 years. Charcoal block building, red trim round every window and bay door, and a team that treats your claim like it is theirs to finish.

Family-owned, over 30 years
Who answers the phone at a shop like this
Ray owns the shop and writes up the jobs. Jenn is the other name that comes up in review after review, usually at the front desk and on the phone. Lily Dumas wrote that “Every phone call was answered immediately and Jenn was so kind.” That is the shop in one sentence: a small team where the person you spoke to on Monday is the person who hands you the keys.
Customers describe the same thing in different words. Justin Broccoli called them “the most down to earth and knowledgable people”. Lisa Portier wrote that “Ray took all the stress out of the process, handled everything from start to finish”. Nicola Francis, who brings her children's cars in too, said Ray “has always over delivered with expectations and professionalism”. Across 88 reviews the shop holds a 4.9 on Google.
Behind them are the technicians, trained in I-CAR, who do the work you see in the photos: masking a door to the edge, pulling a frame back to spec, spraying primer inside plastic sheeting, buffing a fender until it matches the panel next to it. There is a full-time mechanic on staff as well, so the same family looks after the oil change and the quarter panel.
The shop serves all of Rhode Island and the states around it, works on every make and model, foreign and domestic, and speaks English and Spanish at the counter.

The building
Charcoal block, red trim on every opening. If you can see the red, you are at 299 Allens Ave.
A laser aligner and a computer mixing station
Two machines the shop keeps coming back to
Laser uni-body aligner
When a hit bends the body, the aligner measures it and returns the body dimensions to exact factory specifications. Frame work is checked against the numbers, not against a technician's eye alone.
Computer mixing station
The computer refinishing and mixing station is how the new paint is matched to the color already on your car, so the repaired panel does not stand out from the one beside it.
What lands on Ray and Jenn instead of you

- Claim
- Estimates come back within 24 hours on average. Ray and Jenn talk to your insurance company and do the paperwork, so you are not the go-between.
- Wheels
- Onsite rentals and loaner cars, plus towing if the car cannot be driven. Pickup and delivery are listed as options, so ask when you call.
- Handback
- Every vehicle is fully sanitized after service. Free WiFi while you wait, and a lot, restroom, seating and entrance that are wheelchair-accessible.
- Mechanical
- A full-time mechanic is on staff, so a tune-up, tires or a state pre-inspection do not mean finding a second shop.
